LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – Tuesday was crazy… the thought that this experience could have been over, really got me thinking. I know that I put everything I have into this competition, so I definitely would have held my head high, but I would have been heartbroken!

I am beyond thankful that my fans, and everyone else who voted for Val and I, pulled us through to the finals. I am sorry that our quickstep didn’t meet up with perfection, but I promise you, I gave it my all.

Our hip-hop routine has to be one of the highlights of this season for me. Although it was a style that I know, our choreo was complicated and it took a lot of time to master, and I was very proud of our end result. I am thankful to my first dance teacher, who you all met through the TV, Kim Sims-Battiste for helping us.

As I look back on this experience, I will take away many great memories. I remember when I first met Val and thought, he’s kinda short! lol But I hold Val in the highest of regard and I have learned so much from him. First and foremost is his dedication to his craft. Tuesday night for example, when everyone was at a party celebrating the 300th episode, he was at the gym cooking up our next routine! He is a perfectionist down to every movement and how you feel it from your core to your fingertips. #LINK#

Zendaya Dance Auditions

ZENDAYA DANCE AUDITIONS

Zendaya, actress, dancer, vocalist, star of Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and Hollywood Records recording artist is holding open auditions to find dancers for her new music video (to be shot in June) and for her upcoming music tour.

Zendaya will be auditioning all types of dancers.  Formal training or experience is not required.

The Dance Auditions will be held:

• May 11, 2013
• Noon – 8:00 PM
• 1200 South Hope St., Los Angeles, CA 90015

 How to Audition:

Send an email to ZendayaAuditions@gmail.com with:

(1) Your full name, (2) Age, (3) Address & Phone Number, (4) a recent photo, and (5) links (if available) to any videos of you performing.  Once received, you will be emailed your audition day and the Dance Audition Registration Form and Release to print & complete and bring with you to the audition.

You may arrive to the audition without submitting an email, but you will be required to complete all information on site and will be called last, after all registered contestants have completed auditioning.

If under 18, you must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.  We cannot guarantee audition times or how long you will have to wait to be seen.

All ages five (5+) and up are encouraged to audition!

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – PHEWWW!! I am so glad the Argentine Tango is over! That dance was stressful and dramatic and just a whole lot of work. By the time Saturday had rolled around I pretty much thought in my mind, “Oh well, I will just do my best and whatever happens, happens. At least I know I have given it my all!” I still was nervous about the lifts and tricks and I didn’t know how well our story would come across. I guess the crowd’s energy, excitement and live show just kicked in and everything magically came together…I am very proud of the final dance! #LINK#
